Merchant seamen remembered
Local people and visitors with an attachment to the merchant navy who gathered at the Cook Islands RSA club rooms yesterday to honour and remember the thousands of seafarers who lost their lives in the two World Wars and other confl icts were also reminded that the Cook Islands is a nation with a history that owes much to men of the sea. 19090316
