The latest findings on tourism and its impact on the Cook Islands will be made public on Monday next week.
Professor Simon Milne from the New Zealand Tourism Research Institute will be sharing tourism-related information in a presentation at the USP Centre from 6pm.
The presentation is part of Mana Tiaki Week, which will be held from April 1 to 5.
Cook Islands Tourism destination development co-ordinator Sieni Tiraa is urging interested stakeholders to join Professor Milne for an informative, intriguing and interesting presentation on the latest research findings for tourism.
“Professor Simon Milne is no stranger to the Cook Islands and has been conducting tourism research in the Cook Islands for over 30 years and has accumulated a wealth of information on our number one industry,” Tiraa said in a statement.
“He will be presenting specifically on the latest findings of the International Visitor Survey, Business Confidence Index survey and elaborate more on the recent Community Survey.
“It will be an informative evening with insights and research about the Cook Islands Tourism industry from the perspectives of our visitors, local businesses and the community at large.”
