House takes a tumble on way to new location
“Not its intended destination”, said Multi-Contractors house mover, Paul Mangakahia as he surveyed the damage caused when a small house crashed off the side of a trailer in Avarua yesterday morning. One of the home's owners, Geoff Halston (right), said the home was being transported to Matavera when it fell onto the road opposite St Joseph's Catholic Church in Avarua.

A small house being transported through Avarua yesterday morning slid off its trailer and crashed onto the middle of the road, on the south side of the Punanga Nui market.
