The Cook Islands Touch weekly competition will today hold the playoffs in the men’s and women’s opens category.

Winners will go through whilst losers will have to take it by the chin and hang their boots.

On field 1 at 5pm, Germinators take on Atiu Warriors in the men’s division and on field 2, the Nukz Power will battle team Nikz in the ladies division.

Cook Islands Touch president Julz Westrupp said: “Both games look to be tough as all four teams have experience, flare and speed. The team that defends well should come out victors.”

At 5.30pm, the top placed teams will take on fourth placed teams on the table. On field 1, Team GAT will play KAPs and on field 2 the Bounty Hunters take on FBI.  “FBI who are the current winners from 2022 have had it tough this season. Let’s see if they can surprise us and make a comeback.”

Westrupp would like to thank all the referees for the huge help this season and to Vodafone and BCI for the continuous support.
