Tupapa, Avatiu to host football battles

Tupapa’s Victoria Park and Aretere Park, Avatiu are set to host thrilling matches in the Under-15 Boys, Under-15 Girls, Under-18 Men, Women, and Premier Men divisions today.

At Tupapa Field, the day will begin with an exciting match between the U15 Boys teams of Tupapa FC and Nikao Sokattak at 11:15 am. The match will be officiated by referee George George, with assistant referees Robert Snr and Tuakeu Paerau ensuring fair play throughout.

Later, the U15 Girls teams from both clubs will clash at 12:15 pm under the watchful eyes of referee Teupoko Tuariki and assistant referees Kimberly Uini and Tuakeu Paerau.

At 1:15pm, the U18 Men’s teams of Tupapa FC and Nikao Sokattak will battle it out. Referee Rakesh Varman, along with assistant referees George George and Robert Savage Snr, will be officiating this clash. Uini has been assigned as the fourth official for this adrenaline-pumping encounter.

At 2:40pm, an intense showdown is expected when women representing Tupapa FC and Nikao Sokattak take on each other. The responsibility of maintaining a fair game environment lies with referee Robert Savage Snr and assistant referees Kimberly Uini and Teupoko Tuariki.

The Premier Men’s match is scheduled for 4:20 pm, with Varman serving as the head referee alongside Robert Savage Snr, Teupoko Tuariki as assistant referees, and George Geroge as the fourth official.

Meanwhile, at Avatiu Field, an action-packed day commences with the U15 Boys match between Avatiu FC and Titikaveka FC at 11:15 am. Referee Kataraina Piri, Robert Savage Jnr and Poko Tangata have been assigned as assistant referees for the match.

Following this, the U15 Girls’ teams will showcase their skills at 12:15pm under the supervision of referee Penina Katuke and assistant referees Poko Tangata and Romano Maetaua.

The U18 Men’s match between Avatiu FC and Titikaveka FC will begin at 1:15pm, featuring John Pareanga as the head referee. He will be aided by assistant referees Matilda Auua and Jaceline Pukerua, while Katarina Piri has been appointed as the fourth official.

At 2:40pm, the women’s teams will take centre-stage with Penina Katuke taking charge as the referee for this contest. John Pareanga and Romano will act as assistant referees, while Robert Savage Jnr will serve as the fourth official.

The day will end with the Premier Men’s battle between Avatiu and Titikaveka FC at 4:20pm. Officiating this match will be referee John Pareanga along with assistant referees Penina Katuke and Matilda Auua. Kataraina Piri has been appointed the fourth official.
