Thirteen teams battle in Senior Primary School Football Tournament

The 2023 Senior Primary School Football Tournament that kicked off last Friday at the CIFA Complex in Matavera saw 13 school teams competing for top prizes.

The school teams include seven boys and six girls’ teams from Apii Avarua, Apii Arorangi, Apii Nikao, Titikaveka College, Nukutere College, Papaaroa College and Te Uki Ou. The players are Year 7 and 8 students.

They will battle it out on the field in both divisions to see who will have the bragging rights in this year’s tournament.
