Juniors to get the ball rolling as football finals begin
Puaikura’s U6 Mix takes on Titikaveka in the semi-finals match last week. CIFA MEDIA/22121311

It’s the last week of the 2022 Rarotonga football season and the grassroots will be setting the bar for the finale at CIFA Complex in Matavera this afternoon.

The under-6 Mix will get the finals started when Puaikura’s “Stompers” will take on Tupapa Maraerenga “Minions in Black”.

Matavera’s U8 Mix team – the 2022 Round Cup champions – will be going up against Titikaveka while Avatiu will face Tupapa in U10 Mix.

Down at the bottom field another Avatiu and Tupapa Maraerenga clash will ensue in the U12 Mix division. Avatiu will be vying for another trophy as they already hold the Round Cup title, while Tupapa will be out to spoil the party in this interesting clash.

The matches start at 4.15pm. Come down and support our young superstars in their final football matches of the year.
