Grassroots football season wraps up

The Rarotongan Grassroots football season ends today with the final knockout matches at the Cook Islands Football Association (CIFA) complex.

On CIFAs top field, the U6 Mix match will be Puaikura’s little warriors against Nikao Sokattaks small soldiers, and Tupapa Maraerengas kids in black and Mataveras maroons.

The field over will be the U8 Mix Tupapa Maraerenga FC playing Puaikura FC, then Avatiu FC will battle Nikao Sokattak FC.

The last lot of matches on the top field are the fast footers U10 Mix division, Avatiu FC vs Titikaveka FC and Matavera FC vs Puaikura FC.

On CIFAs bottom field will be the fierce U12 Mix with Puaikura FC and Titikaveka FC then Matavera FC play Nikao Sokattak FC, these young guns know what’s at stake today, so everyone will be looking to score big today and walk off field with smiles, awaiting the next challengers to face.

Afterwards, it’s time for the U18 Mens to take charge, with Matavera’s maroon boys playing Titikaveka’s boys in blue on Field 1, and Avatiu’s golden guys will take on Puaikura’s western soldiers to see who will be walking into the semi-finals.
