The eighth round of the 2021 Rarotonga Football Competition kicks off this afternoon.

Young footballers will be gearing up for another round of exciting football action.

For the matches being played at CIFA Complex, all grassroots action will commence at 4:15pm with the U6, U8, U10 mix on CIFAs top field, at the bottom field - all U12 mix games to be followed - will be the U18 men’s division at 4:45pm.

As the U18 men’s game kicks off, Avatiu who won their match against Tupapa last week, will be hoping to bring with them today the fighting spirit when going up against Matavera, and redeem themselves of their first loss to Matavera.

But seeing as Matavera has put themselves in a stable position on the table, and will want to maintain their spot, today’s match is bound to bring spectators to their feet.

Bring the cheers and positive vibes to CIFA Complex today, to support grassroots and the U18 men’s exciting rumble later.
