Football season kicks off tomorrow
Rarotonga Football Season kicks off tomorrow. - 22082908

The much awaited 2022 Rarotonga Football Season will be making a start tomorrow, at the CIFA Complex in Matavera.

Opening the first week of round games will be the always entertaining Grassroots division at 4:15pm, kicking the first ball to start off what is going to be an epic season of football.

The U6, U8, U10 and U12 mix will be the first lot of talented players to hit the fields tomorrow, followed by an intense matchup between Titikaveka FC and Tupapa Maraerenga FC, in the U18 Men division.

Following tomorrow’s game, Tupapa Maraerenga FC and Titikaveka FC will be taking the first week of mid-week games, with their BSP U15 Boys and Islander Senior Women playing on Thursday, while on Friday their BSP U15 Girls and Tower Insurance Premier Men will be taking their first clash at CIFA Complex.

Awaiting their weekend fixtures will be Avatiu FC who will play Puaikura FC, while Matavera FC will be going head on with Nikao Sokattak FC. Both fixtures will be looking to test the waters before kicking into gear for this football season.

All teams have been sitting on edge waiting for the starting hooter of the football season, and now that it’s finally here they can now show their flair on field.

So don’t forget, come on down to the CIFA Complex, tomorrow at 4:15pm to support, cheer and enjoy the first week of some fantastic football fanatics!
