The Rarotonga football season has reached its 10th round, with the excitement and anticipation in the air as teams take to the field to compete head-to-head at Tupapa Field and Avatiu Field today.

Both venues will host a series of competitive matches, featuring various age groups from Under-15 Boys and Girls to Senior Women and Premier Men.

As football supporters gather to cheer on their favourite teams, CIFA Media takes a closer look at what’s in store during this action-packed weekend.

First up at the Tupapa Field is the clash between Tupapa FC and Puaikura FC. The day’s schedule kicks off with the Under-15 Boys going toe-to-toe at 11:15 am, followed by an equally fierce match-up between the Under-15 Girls from both squads at 12:15pm. Football fever continues to soar as the U18 Men take center-stage at 1:15 pm, vying for supremacy and bragging rights.

The women’s teams join the fray at 2:40pm, showcasing their skills and determination to outscore their rivals. The climax of this thrilling lineup comes at 4:20pm when both clubs’ Premier Men duke it out in a battle of grit and skill that promises to have spectators on the edge of their seats throughout every minute.

Simultaneously, a similar set of fixtures unfolds over at Avatiu Field, where Avatiu FC faces Matavera FC beginning with the U15 Boys at 11:15 am. Expect nothing short of top-notch gameplay as both sides display exceptional talent with their eye-catching moves. Proceeding into high gear, the U15 Girls treat fans to an exhibition of raw talent from these budding female athletes as they take the pitch at 12:15pm.

Keeping up the momentum, the U18 Men confront each other with an unflinching spirit from 1:15pm, seeking a significant win to boost morale. The Senior Women then join in on the action at 2:40pm, fighting it out for a chance to inch closer to league dominance.
