Domestic football action continues

The Rarotonga football season round one has been nothing short of spectacular, with a total of 16 matches played in just the last three days. Football enthusiasts and supporters are in for a treat as another 10 matches will be played today at Raemaru Park and Nikao Field.

Over at Raemaru Park, Puaikura FC will welcome teams from Titikaveka FC to their home ground. The action-packed day will begin with the Under 15 Boys' match at 11:15am, officiated by Teariki Piri and assisted by Teupoko Tuariki and Tuakeu Paerau.

Following the boys' showdown, the Under 15 Girls will take the field at 12:15 pm. This match will be officiated by George George, with Penina Katuke and Matilda Auua as assistant referees.

The intense competition continues at 1:15 pm as the Under 18 Men from Puaikura FC and Titikaveka face off. Rakesh Varman will serve as referee for this match, accompanied by Matilda Auua and Tuakeu Paerau.

Expect an exciting Senior Women's clash at 2:40 pm, with Mata Iroa officiating alongside Tuakeu Paerau and Teariki Piri as assistant referees. The fourth official for this match will be Rakesh Varman.

Lastly, showcasing their skills in the final game of the day at Raemaru Park are the Premier Men at 4:20 pm. Rakesh Varman takes charge as referee while being supported by Teupoko Tuariki and Penina Katuke and Mata Iroa as fourth official.

At Nikao Field, Nikao Sokattak FC will welcome Avatiu FC for a series of exhilarating matches. The Under 15 Boys' game kicks off at 11:15 am, with Katarina Piri officiating and Jaceleine Pukerua and Robert Savage Junior assisting.

At 12:15 pm, Tahiri Elikana will referee the Under 15 Girls' fixture, supported by Jaceleine Pukerua and Zion Williams.

The much anticipated Under 18 Men’s battle will kick off at 1:15 pm. Robert Savage Sr will serve as referee, along with assistants Teina Savage and John Pareanga. Katarina Piri will act as the fourth official.

The Senior Women's match promises plenty of exciting actions when it begins at 2:40 pm. Tahiri Elikana steps in as referee once again, this time aided by Teina Savage and Ua Savage. The fourth official is Robert Savage Sr.

To cap off the day at Nikao Field, the Premier Men's match commences at 4:20 pm. John Pareanga will oversee the game as referee, supported by Katarina Piri and Teina Savage. Ua Savage will serve as the fourth official.

The Cook Islands Football Association invites all supporters to come out and cheer on their favourite teams throughout these enthralling football matches.
