Titikaveka Pearls shine, Avatiu rule in netball battles

The Rarotonga Netball Club competition took off its weekly round with a flurry of thrilling matches that kept fans on the edge of their seats. As clubs battled it out for supremacy on the court, the intensity was real, and the stakes were high.

The premier clash between Tupapa and the Titikaveka Pearls was a nail-biter from start to finish.

In the first quarter, Tupapa held their ground admirably against the formidable Titikaveka side. However, an unexpected injury in the Tupapa shooting circle shifted the momentum in favour of Titikaveka.

Despite Tupapa’s valiant efforts, Titikaveka capitalised on the opportunity and emerged victorious with a final score of 43-36.

Meanwhile, over in Avatiu, the blue and gold brigade squared off against the girls from Takuvaine in another electrifying matchup.

True to their reputation, Avatiu displayed dominance on the court, overwhelming the Takuvaine girls with their skill and precision. The match was a rollercoaster of excitement, concluding in a resounding victory for Avatiu with a final score of 48-29.

In the battle between Arorangi and Ngatangiia, the Arorangi netters came out with fire in their hearts and determination in their eyes.

From the opening whistle, they set the pace and dictated the flow of the game with their swift and strategic gameplay.

The Ngatangiia team struggled to keep up, unable to match the intensity of their opponents. In the end, Arorangi emerged triumphant with an impressive score line of 73-29.
