The fourth week of the Netball Cook Islands Rarotonga club competition was full of exciting matches. Teams fought hard on the court to get top spots before knockouts.

“But then, the rain came, making it even harder,” said Jenna Tere, Netball Cook Islands secretary.

Players had to change their plans, focusing on keeping the ball and dealing with the slippery court. Even though it was slower, players stayed determined.

In the premiership clash between Titikaveka and Takuvaine, Titikaveka showed remarkable resilience and skill. They maneuvered through the rain-soaked courts with precision, maintaining possession and seizing every opportunity to score.

Their strategic plays led them to a well-deserved 67-27 win, solidifying their position as leaders in the competition.

Heading into the final game of round one against Arorangi this Saturday, Titikaveka stands strong at the top of the table.

Avatiu demonstrated sheer dominance against the Ngatangiia netters. With extreme precision, they forced the maroon-clad ladies to rethink their strategies quarter after quarter.

Avatiu maintained their lead throughout the game, ultimately securing a decisive victory 70-19 when the final whistle blew.

Meanwhile, in Arorangi, the Tupapa girls put up a strong fight against the home team.

Despite facing a recent loss, the Tupapa girls capitalised on every opportunity they got against the Arorangi flames. Their determination and ability to seize chances kept the game intense until the very end.

Tupapa won the clash 44-27.

Despite the rain causing delays and challenges, the matches remained thrilling for fans. Each team showcased their strengths and skills, making every game a spectacle to watch.

As the competition progresses, anticipation builds for the upcoming matches and the eventual knockout rounds.
