The rain eased off just in time for the 11am start for day three of the BSP Netball in Paradise tournament at the Ngatangiia/Matavera netball courts in Muri.

Day two of the netball games on Monday in the welcoming rain did little to dampen the competitiveness on court.

In Monday’s Social Women’s division, Just Kruizin Matatahi continued their dominance on court with another two solid wins on day two to place them on the top of the points table with 12 points,  team Smash from Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand’s Porirua RSA Rebels are hot on their heels with both teams on eight points.

There will be time for the teams to hustle up on the points table in yesterday’s day three games.

On Monday, in the high action paced Open Mixed Division, team Smash led the way continuing their winning paces putting the local Aka Tokaz side and team Ahikaa through their paces to seal the top spot with 8 points on the table closely followed by team Ahikaa on 6 points.

It’s the battle for bronze place and local pride for teams Charlie’s Angels, 100% Wale and Aka Tokaz all sharing two points on Monday.
