Cook Islands News profiles another athlete who will be representing the country in weightlifting for the Pacific Mini Games, which will get underway on June 17.

Weightlifting, age 30

What island are you from? Mauke

What Village are you from? (if living overseas just ignore this question) Rangituarua

What future goals/ambitions you have in the sport? To eventually qualify for commonwealth games .

What you love about your sport? Just love competing and showing others what I'm capable of.

What events and Competitions have you competed in? Cook Islands Games Oceania Online Cup New Zealand International.

What is your achievements in the sport (medals, placings, representing the country, personal bests etc)? Cook Island Games – Gold New Zealand International - Bronze.

What pushed you to compete at international level? Wanting to push myself further in the sport.
