"The fact that President Trump has been banned on many Social Media Platforms speak volumes," a resident writes in response to a CI News opinion column by Ruta Mave.

Dear Editor,

I read Ruta Mave’s article in the Cook Islands News – Monday January 11 2021.

I would also like to comment.

President Trump has been hugely maligned by the media outlets – especially CNN. Honestly, CNN has been vicious and at times, outright despicable in its daily attacks.

The fact that President Trump has been banned on many Social Media Platforms speak volumes.

So much for freedom of speech!

Just watch these big Tech Companies (Twitter, Facebook etc) lose huge amounts of money and support from the American people.

Like it or not, President Trump still has a huge following.

That being said, the issue of VOTER FRAUD has been totally ignored by the media and the United States Legal courts/systems.

I can go on and on but there is the old Proverbial saying – goes like this – “Every dog has it’s day.”

However, the President being the loyal Patriot that he is keeps reminding everyone that “The best is yet to come and God Bless America.”

I, for one, am looking forward to the Great Reveal.

PS: Popcorn ready and watch this space.

Ruta Mave replies:

Dear Trump supporter,

Who am I to argue with all the Republicans who counted the votes in every state, and the Republican lawmakers who threw all the calls of voter fraud out of every court and declared Biden the winner.

I certainly can't judge why the third highest ranking Republican in House Rep Liz Cheney (R-WY) is saying "There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution. I will vote to impeach the President."

I will however, agree with you, when you say 'Every dog has its day', because on January 17 2021, Joe Biden's dog Major will be inaugurated as he prepares to move into the White House.
