Letter: The height of arrogance
The letter writer says: "Kata’s picture of 1000 words where Lewis was milking two cows, says it all. "

Now it is announced Owen Lewis is “going to continue to provide support” with sports while doing “the most crucial position in the public service ... directly impact the lives of our young people” in Education.

Kata’s picture of 1000 words where Lewis was milking two cows, says it all. The absolute audacity of these men in power to think this train wreck of an appointment would go uncontested and they reward themselves with a staycation (Aitutaki retreat). It is the height of arrogance they have about their own importance that they believe they can rub it into everyone’s faces knowing they will get away with it. Aue.

What is this nonsense that Anthony Turua will replace him at CISNOC?

If you want to see how well education is going to be in three years’ time, look at the current controversies involving CISNOC, $500,000 from the government for Pacific Games, double booking league nines and beach games, going on staycations to discuss his non-departure. Lewis leadership allows that to happen in sports, makes me dread how he will mould our educators.

What nonsense
