In may this year, senior girls dance champion Ambushia Mateariki danced for the ‘Pride’ public campaign supporting Te Tiare Association and Pride Cook Islands Inc LGBTQI+ communities of the Cook Islands. 21051447.

A New Zealand-based human rights initiative has found the Cook Islands to be leading the world in a range of civil and political rights, however the rights of the disabled and journalists were found to be endangered.
