Once again pastor Pere is wrong. He presents his view as unless YOU are baptized you will not receive power. Firstly you left out the main point of the gospel and that is believe! You did not mention the key component of faith at all. Titus 3:5 tells us. "Not by works of righteousness that we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and the renewing of the Holy Ghost. The washing of regeneration is the word of God! as found in Eph. 5:26. That He might sanctify and cleanse it (the church) with the washing of water by the word. John 3:5 tells us we must be born of water and of the Spirit. The water in this passage is not baptism, otherwise it would contradict Titus 3:5 It is the WORD of God. It is all God's doing he gets all the credit. 1Peter 1:23 tells us we are born again by the word of God. Baptism is a work and contradicts scripture if you teach that it saves, that is wrong. (Baptism Identifies believers) God is salvation and only God saves by his Mercy and Grace. The time has come to put a stop to this false teaching and rhetoric. That leads to self-righteousness. True righteousness comes from above, Gen 15:6 and he (Abram) believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness. Believers who are expecting to get to heaven will only get there. By following SOUND doctrine. Unfortunately your teachings pastor Pere are full of holes.
