Local farmers are being given a funding boost to provide more local produce to the Te Maeva Nui Festival and the Punanga Nui Markets like this little farmer's family did last year at World Food Day.

The 50th anniversary of self-government celebrations will have an abundance of local fruit and vegetables, rather than imported produce, should a new scheme succeed.
