Cook Islands Touch Association will commence their regular touch season on Monday, January 30, and this year the weekly matches will be held at the National Stadium.

Association president Julz Westrupp said: “Mondays will be the open men and women and then on Wednesdays we will have the mixed category.”

“We have four men and four women’s teams registered this year where they will play two rounds before going into play offs, 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 with winners playing each other in the finals.”

On Wednesdays the mixed category will be held with six teams where they will play one round only and then go to playoffs with the same format as the men and women.

“This will give us eight weeks of good touch where a trialing squad will be called to commence training for the Pacific Games. Please watch out for Monday's paper to see the draw on who will be playing who.”

CITA would like to thank BCI and Vodafone for their continuous support again. Get ready touch fans, see you on the 7m line.
