Touch president Julz Westrupp said: “All four teams in both men and women divisions are good so it will be exciting to see who comes out victorious.”
Fixtures – 5pm Field 1 Men Nukz Power-KAPs, F2 M GAT-Atiu Warriors; 5.30pm F1 W Nukz Power-Bounty Hunters, F2 W FBI-Nikz.
Meanwhile in last week’s mixed games, a lot of tries were scored in all the matches played.
Outlaws
took out the game against the Young Warriors but the score was close 9-6. “Very
good play by the Young Warriors as they have all U18s.”
The surprise game was between 007 and J Squad. 077 has a lot of experience but
the flair and patience of Viiga Reupena a took his team to win with a score of
9-8.
In the final match of the day two Mitiaro teams – Nukz Power and Mighty Arrows – battled. Again Mighty Arrows being young and only having U18s players almost pipped the seniors with a 3-all draw.
