Teams set to battle for trophies in Kia Orana Youth Festival

The finals for the Kia Orana Youth Festival will take place today at the CIFA Complex in Matavera.

The U18 women and men’s matches will be played on field one, while U15 boys and girls on field two.
Matches for both grades will kick off at 12 noon.

On field one, fighting for third places in the U18 women and men’s divisions will be Aitutaki playing against Avatiu and Aitutaki taking on Atiu, respectively.

In the top place playoff in the women’s division, Tupapa Maraerenga will play off against Puaikura FC. In the men’s category, a tough battle is expected when Mangaia will play against Tupapa Maraerenga.

At the CIFA complex field two, the U15 games will begin with Titikaveka girls playing against Mangaia, followed by Titikaveka and Mangaia in the boy’s division. The third game in the U15 division will see Mitiaro girls taking on the Aitutaki and the final game for the day in the U15 will have Mitiaro boys challenging the boys from Aitutaki.
The presentation of trophies will take place after the finals.
