A good crowd of excited parents cheered their kids on at the second and final day of the Rarotonga Primary Schools Kau Competition yesterday.

Year 3 student Teata Rima from Apii Takitumu went home with several top placings from the junior’s division yesterday.

Rima placed first in the heat and final of the freestyle 25 metre event, third in backstroke final 25m and third in the relay mixed 25m event.

Apii Te Uki Ou took home the junior champions and overall champions trophies. Cook Islands Aquatics will release the full results next week.
