Kiana Sword-Tua (above) is the only under 12 Cook Islands tennis player at the Pacific Oceania Junior Championships in Lautoka, Fiji.
Sword-Tua is in Fiji with fellow squad members Roland Neururer, Jake Bergman (under 14 boys), Tayla Beddoes (under 14 girls), Alex Beddoes (under 18 boys), and Tamarua Payne (under 14 boys) and Elias Tukaroa.
After this week’s tournament they will remain in Fiji for a second competition which will see them play some of New Zealand and Australia’s best junior players to help Pacific players lift their level and standard of tennis. Photo Fiji Times.
