In an article about the Rarotonga Golf Club Championships in Thursday’s Cook Islands News, it was stated that Sonny Karati had been defeated by James Herman in the senior men’s final.
In fact the opposite was the case. Sonny Karati won the match and is the new club Champion. This writer wishes to apologise to Sonny and also to James for any concern, embarrassment, or confusion this may have caused.
An apology also goes out to the Rarotonga Golf Club and its members.
The fault is that of the writer. For that reason apologies go out to Cook Islands News, and, of course, to its readers.
