Blistering runaway tries, popping side-steps and crunching tackles have been the highlights of the 2011 Sevens in Heaven tournament which heads into crunch time today for the third and final day of games.

Not only will rugby stars shine again on the field local supporters are also sure to take some of the limelight in the dress up competitions.

Day two of the tournament was played at the BCI Stadium yesterday on a dry and dusty pitch and under a blazing Rarotonga sun. One sided games have also been a feature of the tournament so far as the men separate themselves from the boys.

Games should be more evenly contested today as it will be the last opportunity for teams to take their name on the trophies on offer including the main champions cup.

Defending champions College Rifles are looking hot to retain the cup but have some tough competition coming their way today from the Titikaveka Titans, Avatiu Eels and the Tauae Bulls if they can improve on the intensity of their game.

The minnows are not giving up easily and provide some exciting action.

Games today start at 10.28am and will run right up to the mens grand final at 7.30pm.

The Telecom Kick competition kicks off at 3.50pm followed by the dash for cash and at 5.14pm all dressed up mates and crews will be judged.
