Cook Islands Triathlon Association is looking forward to the annual BSP Team Tri Competition this Saturday, February 11.

Held at the usual Tikioki Tri Site, teams are encouraged to come and participate in what is always a massively fun day.

The short course 200 metres swim, 8-kilometre bike and 2km run will be undertaken in teams of three, with each team completing the distance three times.

Registration is at 1pm with the race starting at 2pm sharp. Sports teams, banks, government departments, families, church groups, businesses and a number of youngsters always line up to compete and have fun with their friends and families.

Cook Islands Triathlon president Roland Neururer is always happy to assist people to make up a team so if you fancy giving it a go but don’t yet have a team feel free to call him on 55077.

“Bring a mat and some snacks, cheer on your friends and join in a wonderful fun afternoon.”

For further information can be found on the CITAI website www.rarotri.com

“Triathlon Cook Islands would also like to say, thank you to all sponsors, BSP, KPMG, The Bond Store.”
