Ponipate Draunimasi Naisulu entered a guilty plea to excess breath alcohol in the Criminal Court on Thursday last week.
The court heard Naisulu drove on March 4 and recorded an alcohol breath reading of 690 micrograms per litre of breath.
Justice of the Peace John Whitta advised Naisulu legal advice was available.
Naisulu was fined $350 plus $50 court costs and disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Teremoana Temata was also disqualified from driving for 12 months when she entered a guilty plea to drink driving on Thursday.
The court heard on February 11 she drove and had a 245 milligrams of alcohol per 100 ml of blood.
She was fined $450 plus $50 court costs, $150 for the blood analysis, and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
