Defending champions Tupapa Panthers have taken the lead in the domestic 13s premier men’s competition after their 54-6 win over Ngatangiia Matavera Sea Eagles on Saturday.

The match held at Nukupure Park saw the Panthers leading 24-2 at the break.

The Panthers have moved to the top spot above Avatiu Nikao Eels who were on bye and have a match in hand.

Both the Panthers and the Eels have lost a match to each other. More in tomorrow’s edition.
