Letter: ‘Missiles in Rarotonga’

To the Editor, Have you ever looked upward and seen bunches of coconuts hanging over the road?

These decorative palms can be deadly missiles waiting to slam a motorbike, pushbike, car and pedestrian.

Rarotonga Hospital staff treat these unnecessary injuries, adding extra work to their busy schedules.

Removing unpredictable falling coconuts can prevent this from happening.

Safety comes first.

It is time for action.
