The Swamp in Avatiu will host another hectic clash in the men’s division taking on Titikaveka this afternoon.

Both teams are looking to overthrow each other and gain higher rankings going into the knockout round.

Titikaveka has been on a slope with their performance recently, and will be itching for a win today.

They will have to bring back their vicious playing style in order to keep their third spot on the points table.

Speedy and skill forwards like Nuku Mokoroa and Joseph Tuaputa will need to step up in this match. The duo will need to be on top of their game when going up against Avatiu in order to gain the maximum match points.

Akiona Tairi and John Karika will also play a crucial role from their midfield positions while their backline will need to maintain an unbreakable wall to keep Avatiu’s usual goal scorer Silas Trego at bay.

Avatiu, who drew last week, will be going all out for win in order to secure their place at fourth.

The minnows comprise of youngsters Aaron Simpson and Silas Trego, who will spearhead their attack against Titikaveka.

Holding together their backline are another two young ones, Ariki Kiriau and Oscar Wichman, who are known for tough defending. They will need to stay on high alert when tempted by Titikaveka’s speedsters.

Also playing at CIFA Complex today, will be Puaikura and Matavera.

Avatiu and Puaikura are in a battle for fourth, so Puaikura will need to take these three points in order to move up, but Matavera will not give it to them that easy.

For the Islander senior women’s division, Avatiu will look to steal three points from Titikaveka.

At the CIFA Complex, Puaikura will take on Matavera in their final Round Cup match.

Starting the match at 11.15am, at The Swamp will be the BSP U15 Boys, then at 12.40pm will be the U15 Girls match at CIFA Complex.
