The sessions were conducted by Cook Islands Rugby Union development manager Ben Koteka and Pomare Pittman.
The purpose of this seven-week programme is to educate the youth of the Cook Islands on healthy living and the importance of an active lifestyle.
The programme has about 1000 students from Year 9 to 13 participating.
St Joseph’s Primary School Year 4-5 and Apii Avarua’s Year 5-6 students will be taking part in Monday’s session.
The programme is a combined effort of Cook Islands Sports and National Olympic Committee, Cook Islands Rugby Union, New Zealand Rugby and Oceania Rugby.
