Wrapping up the Golden Oldies

Thursday 26 May 2011 | Published in Regional

Golden Oldies players that took part in the two-day tournament are invited to a light run and kaikai this afternoon at the Nikao field.

Four teams rumbled at the Avatiu field last Saturday and Monday where there were plenty of back in my day tales and action on the field.

Fun, friendship and fraternity is the theme of golden oldies sports and all three have been achieved by the players.

Local players are encouraged to get along to the Nikao field, with your pot luck meal, for the light run before showing visiting players of the Kiwi DB Millhillians and Australian Central Coast team a good time island style.

The light run will start at 5pm and the kaikai and hosting of the visiting players will get underway at 7pm.
