The 2011 club rugby sevens championship title is still wide open with this years big improvers the Ngatangiia-Matavera Flying Dragons senior A grade team in the clear lead with 12 points.

The Dragons will definitely have the advantage heading into this weekends grand finals but hot on their heels are the winners of the recent Constitution Sevens tournament the Tupapa Panthers, who are sitting on 10 points.

Two points behind the Panthers in third place are the Arorangi Cowboys with 8 points.

The Avatiu Eels, Takuvaine Reds and Titikaveka Bulls are in a three-way tie in 4th place with 6 points each.

This weekends grand final round is sure to be an exciting end to the club rugby sevens season to be staged at the Happy Valley field in Takuvaine.
