Volleyball tournament gets underway

BCI social mixed volleyball teams Kick Ass and OKA continue to lead the way in the tournament in their respective pools.

Pool A leaders Kick Ass showed no mercy on opponents Aremango Sharks to win 91-78.

Aremango may have lost the game but is one team not to be underestimated.

In pool B OKA had a battle on their hands when they faced Party Rock.

Despite a fantastic effort Party Rock couldnt quite register the win which was taken by OKA by just one point (82-81).

WACKeez were too strong for Turtles Fani winning 91-77.

Team Ruks did the damage against TKV1 winning 91-72 while TKV2 beat BCI Real Steel 85-78.

Fiji Me registered their first loss against the hot shot Tokoroa Pride side who spiked their way to the win 88-64.

On the points table Kick Ass and TKV2 lead the way on 6 points each followed by Tokoroa Pride and Fiji Me on 4 points each. Aremango Sharks and BCI Real Steel bring up the rear with 2 points each.

In Pool B team OKA, WACKeez and Ruks all share 6 points at the top of the table while TKV1, Turtles Fani and Party Rock all have 2 points each.

Games continue next Wednesday at 6pm.
