The king and queen of the courts social beach volleyball tournament will be held on Easter Monday as part of the beach volleyball revival.

The tournament will be held at the Totokoitu beach courts in Vaimaanga situated in between the YWAM centre and old Totokoitu agriculture research centre.

The tournament will be a mixed tournament and all the names of interested players will go into a hat where playing partners for games will be drawn.

Registration of what is going to be a fun filled tournament is $10 per player and all proceeds will go towards the beach volleyball team that will take part in the Olympic qualifier in May.

It was announced this week that a purpose built beach volleyball facility to include two international sized courts will be developed at the vacant Nikao site next to the national tennis centre.

To register for this exciting tournament, which will start at 1pm on Easter Monday, contact Marguerite Dean on 51448 or Makea Pauka on 55348.
