A total of 22 rugby sevens teams will play in this years Cook Islands International Sevens tournament presented by CITC between November 3 and 5.

Sixteen mens and six womens sevens teams from Auckland, Hastings, Wellington and the Cook Islands will line up for the four-day tournament which will also include defending womens and mens champions from team College Rifles.

The College Rifles can expect to face fierce rivals from the local and outer islands teams who head into the second weekend of four weeks of club sevens leading up to the annual sevens in heaven tournament.

As well as some great games of rugby sevens the tournament will also include a number of competitions for spectators including the Absolutely Stunning dressing up competitions, Tuis Yeah Right best supporters group and the Malibu Madness best hat competition with $100 cash up for grabs in each division.

Eager sevens fans can now purchase tickets for the games which cost $7 for games on Thursday and Friday. Tickets will be $10 on the grand finals day, November 5.

If you head to the ANZ Bank right now you can purchase discounted three day passes for just $20 for adults and $8 for kids, and then shuffle it to the sevens.
