After some close and exciting games last weekend, todays Edgewater Saturday premier championship is set for more fireworks on the pitch.

At Raemaru Park, the Arorangi Red Hot Chicks take on the Matavera Hot Eyes in a top of the table clash for supremacy.

Red Hot Chicks captain Diana Tamaiva returns to bolster an already impressive looking line up with Margaret Dean and Deana Paiti set to do some real damage with both bat and ball. The young Hot Eyes will be fully aware of the Arorangi firepower, but theyll know what to expect winning a close encounter between the two teams earlier in the season.

Led by their captain and ANZ junior supreme player of the year Benedicta Matapo and experienced campaigner Apii Tangata guiding the youngsters, the Hot Eyes will be looking to do the business out on the field come game time.

At Nukupure Park, Muri will be looking to bounce back from a close loss last weekend against neighbours Avana.

Punanga Kaveao will be looking to pile on the runs with Annabelle Tuaati and Makiroa Mato in the mix.

Tuaatis big hitting will help Muri put pressure on the Avana bowlers, but Margaret Simiona and Enua Peyroux will definitely have other ideas. Look to this match to go right down to the wire. Both games start at 9.30am.
