The senior primary school soccer tournament continues today with the girls taking to the pitch at 2.45pm followed by the senior boys.

Proving their dominance in both divisions, Avarua School will openly look to shut down their opponents Papaaroa and Titikaveka today.

However, Titikaveka and Papaaroa recorded wins last week and may surprise their challengers.

In the boys division, Arorangi will take on Nukutere and both sides have yet to register a win while Avatea face a pumped up Te Uki Ou/Imanuela side.

On field four, 2011 champions Nikao will challenge Titikaveka to add three points to their tally following a one goal loss against Te Uki Ou/Imanuela last week.

Prior to the boys matches, the senior girls teams will go head to head with a confident Avarua team taking on Titikaveka while Avatea will play their first match in the competition against Imanuela Akatemia.

Nukutere will face a determined Arorangi side, which came close to a win over Papaaroa last week.

Last Wednesday the CIFA complex buzzed with echoes of support from teachers and parents and today will surely witness that same enthusiasm again.

Today’s draw – 2.45pm (girls) on field 1-Avarua vs Titikaveka, on field 2-Avatea vs Imanuela, on field 3-Arorangi vs Nukutere, Nikao bye, 3.20pm (boys) on field 1-Avatea vs Te Uki Ou/Imanuela, on field 2-Nikao vs Titikaveka, on field 3-Avarua vs Papaaroa, on field 4-Arorangi vs Nukutere.
