Pacific Resort Hotel Group is proud to be involved in supporting and developing Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) in the Cook Islands.

The Cook Islands is set to become the newest hotspot for Stand Up Paddling in the South Pacific and the Walk on Water Week starting today is sure to help develop the sport further in the Cooks.

Pacific Resort Rarotonga are strong advocates for this growing sport and the recently introduced SUPs for rental at their beach hut are proving popular with in-house guests.

Resort chief executive officer Greg Stanaway says like oe vaka SUP is another fantastic sport and leisure activity that marries the resorts core values of being environmentally friendly, fitness focused and above all having fun.

We are very excited to partner in Walk on Water Week with Charlotte Piho and Travis Grant to celebrate the worlds fastest growing sport.

This is really the start of an exciting adventure a long term partnership to develop SUP as a sport in the Cook Islands, comments walk on water week event organiser Charlotte Piho.

This is the second initiative that Pacific Resort Hotel Group has partnered with Charlotte Piho.

Piho brought out a Billabong Surf crew early in the year as part of a 10-day voyage in search of the best wave in the Cook Islands.

Piho in partnership with Pacific Resort Hotel Group will also introduce a womens luxury stand up paddleboarding and yoga retreat in the Cook Islands later this year. Designed as a week-long adventure to the most beautiful place on earth - The Cook Islands.

The retreat for like-minded women will provide an abundance of experiences for the mind, body and soul. The retreat boasts leaving its clients lighter both physically and mentally, revived, refreshed and renewed.
