The Cook Islands Amateur Boxing Association will meet at midday today to select the Pacific Games training squad.
The squad is expected to training together regularly with their next fight night to be confirmed for later this month against a visiting club from Tahiti.
The night is expected to be a sell out after a fantastic display of boxing at last Thursdays fight night which featured 7 bouts at the Tupapa Youth Centre.
Plans for a two-night Constitution bout during the August Te Maeva Nui celebrations will also be finalised at todays meeting which will include boxers from Rarotonga and the outer islands.
