Young Rose Savage may have to get used to sharing her bedroom with more of the family before the Rugby World Cup is over.

The nine-year-old primary school student was the lucky winner of one of two television sets to find new homes through a CITC competition yesterday.

Rose won a 42-inch flatscreen TV and a DVD player to go yesterday, through Foodlands end of the competition.

The other winner was Cook Islands Police senior sergeant Ruth Hosking-Tane, whose single entry was pulled out of the draw at the CITC main store.

Rose was so excited to hear she had won, the Avarua Primary School student couldnt wait to pick up the TV.

She said she planned to put it in her bedroom, but her aunty Henriana warned her that she could find it a bit more crowded than shes used to if she does that.

Hey, theres some Rugby World Cup finals to watch after all!

Ruth received the winning phone call on a bit of a delay, her voice mail system doing the honours of receiving the good news while she was out mowing the lawn.

When I came back in I had these missed calls from a strange number. On the message I heard Ruth, this is G. I have some good news for you, and I knew straight away I had won, she said.

Later that day she ran into George George, the voice on the phone, who confirmed her suspicions.

Ruth said she couldnt believe her luck the ticket was the only entry she put into this competition.

And all she had to do was purchase two SC Johnson cleaning products to be eligible.
