Thursday 9: With the weather being as great as it has been over the past few days, the Muri lagoon is the place to be today for the second day of the Cook Islands sailing competition.

The Cook Islands Games boxing competition tonight is expected to be a thriller with six female and five male bouts on the line up tonight.

The fight night will be held at the Banana Court in Avarua with ticket sales available at the door at $5 for adults and $2 for kids.

The second day of the athletics event will be held this afternoon while lawn bowls and golf will continue. There will be no events tomorrow, Good Friday.

On Saturday the final swimming events will be held at Tikioki with the 750m and 3km course on offer for athletes.

The one day rugby sevens competition will be held on Saturday at the Tupapa field which will be followed by the closing ceremony of the games at the national auditorium. – MW
