The Ngatangiia-Matavera Dragons under 16s will challenge the Arorangi Cowboys squad for the Powerade Challenge trophy today at Raemaru Park.

The Cowboys have been unstoppable in this midweek competition.

In their last challenge against the Titikaveka Bulls the Cowboys slaughtered the Bulls 57-0 in a powerful show of strength and skills by the Cowboys.

The Dragons under 16 squad have been struggling to find players and have resorted to importing some of their under 13 players into the squad.

Despite this the Dragons will no doubt go all out against the Cowboys with a nothing to lose attitude.

Todays match will be the 3rd of 5 Powerade challenge matches so far dominated by the Cowboys.

Players to watch in the Dragons squad will be Harmon Royal and Travel Tuaputa.

For the Cowboys, their front row, just like their senior A grade squad, will be a force to reckon with.

Look for strong running Cowboys inside centre Rory Ngaata, fullback Jag Love and hard working forward Tokoiva George.

Todays game kicks off at 4.30pm at Raemaru Park.
