Pukapuka mourns fallen king

The Pukapuka community are mourning the death of their king Aliki Wolo, Pakitonga Tetio Kaitala Paulo Iti.
Aliki Wolo, 81, passed away enroute to Rarotonga from Pukapuka on Tuesday afternoon.
He was airlifted from the northern group island and referred to the Rarotonga hospital.
The Pukapuka Rarotonga Community gathered on Tuesday night to show grief and mourn the loss of their king.
The body of Aliki Wolo is expected to be flown to Pukapuka for burial. Funerals arrangement will be announced later.
