‘MPs don’t deserve a pay rise’
Some respondents said they would only support a pay rise for Cultural Development and Prison Services minister George “Maggie” Angene.

A majority of the respondents to the 2019 Cook Islands News national political poll are against Members of Parliament (MPs) awarding themselves a pay rise, saying they “don’t deserve it”.
