Parent-teacher association chair Gina Willie said funds were also being raised for any additional items needed by the school.
Willie said the most popular items at the fundraiser were the $12 plates of roast chicken, desserts and goods made by the senior students.
Initially the school was supposed to sell produce grown by their students however it wasn’t ready for harvest.
Apii Avarua staff helped with selling of food at the fundraiser attended by parents and workmates of parents.
The students entertained the crowd with drumming.
