Big sale day at the RSA

The Returned and Services Association is hosting a garage sale/car boot sale this Saturday (October 20) from 10am to 1pm at the RSA premises in Panama opposite the airport.

The RSA is renting out sites for vehicles – no articulated trucks, at the back of the RSA for $10 and there will be spaces inside the lower part of the association’s building also for $10.

Stallholders can bring their own tables if they would like to, or the RSA will provide them.

Spokeswoman Gail Eraio said: “If people want a table outside with their vehicle space then we can provide that also at $10.”

Spaces can be reserved with Gail on 25221/79880, or Margaret on 23449/57512.

Eraio said: “This is a golden opportunity for clubs and community organisations to fundraise.

“The RSA will also have a table where we will sell books, ESCAPE Magazine’s 2019 Calendars, some T-shirts – mostly big sizes - and miscellaneous good quality items that we have had donated to us.

“We are hoping for fine weather and a really good turnout. We know it is Punanga Nui market day too, but hope that people will just come on down to the RSA and get rid of that loose change.”
